Jumbo Raisin Cookies
Jumbo Raisin Cookies is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 c. water, 2 c. seedless raisins, 1 c. shortening, 2 c. sugar and 3 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Add water to raisins and boil 5 minutes; cool.
Cream shortening and sugar.
Add eggs and beat well.
Add vanilla and cooled raisins.
Sift together the flour, baking powder, soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Add to raisin mixture and blend well. Add chopped nuts.
Chill.
Drop by teaspoon on greased baking sheet.
Bake in a 400Β° oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
Makes 5 dozen cookies.
