Cook peas and let cool. Cut lettuce head up into large bowl. Add a layer of green pepper, celery and onions. After peas have cooled, add a layer of peas over the onions.
Spread mayonnaise layer. Sprinkle the sugar over the mayonnaise.
Add cheese layer and then bacon layer.
Stir before serving.
