Joshua's Favorite Brisket
Joshua'S Favorite Brisket is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 lb. lean brisket, jar chili sauce, 1 can beer, 1/4 c. brown sugar and bunch carrots, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Rinse brisket in cold water.
Place in baking pan.
Sprinkle with kosher salt.
Slice carrots and onions (very thin).
Put on top of brisket.
In a separate bowl, add chili sauce, beer and brown sugar.
Mix well.
Pour mixture on top of brisket.
Seal pan with foil.
Bake 1 hour at 450°, then reduce to 350° for 2 hours. Keep covered the entire time.
This is a great company dish. Slice thinly and serve!!
