John Torrey is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 oz. uncooked elbow macaroni, 1/2 lb. extra lean ground beef, 1/2 green pepper, chopped, 1 small onion, chopped and 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain.
Spray skillet with a non-stick coating.
Add ground beef, green pepper and onion.
Saute until tender.
Add remaining ingredients including macaroni.
Pour into a casserole dish that has been sprayed with non-stick coating.
Bake, covered, for 35 to 40 minutes.
