John'S Favorite Penuche Icing is an easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter, 1 c. brown sugar, 1/4 c. milk and 1 1/2 to 2 c. powdered sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Melt butter.
Add brown sugar.
Boil over low heat 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Stir in milk; bring to boil, stirring constantly.
Cool to lukewarm.
Gradually add powdered sugar and beat on high until thick enough to spread.
If too thick, add a few drops of water.
Wonderful on spice or butter pecan cake.
