John'S Favorite Peanut Butter Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. crisco, 3/4 c. creamy peanut butter, 1 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar, 3 tbsp. milk and 1 tbsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Heat oven to 375°.
Mix Crisco, peanut butter, sugar, milk and vanilla in large bowl.
Beat at medium speed of electric mixer until well blended.
Add egg, beat until just blended.
Combine flour, salt and baking soda.
Add to creamed mixture and mix at low speed until just blended.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet.
Flatten slightly with crisscross pattern with fork. Bake at 375° for 8 minutes.
