Sift the dry ingredients together.
Place in large bowl and add remaining ingredients in order given, mixing well.
Grease a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan and spoon batter into pan.
Bake about 75 to 90 minutes at 325Β° until bread pulls away from sides of pan and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool in pan on wire rack.
Remove.
This bread freezes well.
Makes 1 loaf.
