Jo'S Favorite Pear Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 stick margarine, 2 pt. chopped pears in heavy syrup, 1 small can crushed pineapple with juice, 1 c. self-rising flour and 1 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Preheat oven to 400Β°.
Melt margarine in large pan or casserole dish.
Next, mix the pears and syrup with the pineapple and juice.
Spoon this into the margarine; do not stir.
Mix the flour, sugar, milk, lemon and vanilla together.
Pour this over the pear/pineapple.
Do not stir.
Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
Top servings with ice cream or whipped topping, if desired.
Good hot or cold.
