Jill's Caramel Corn
Jill'S Caramel Corn is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. brown sugar, 1/2 c. dark corn syrup (not light syrup), 1 c. butter, 1 tsp. salt and 1/2 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Mix and boil first 4 ingredients.
Boil for 5 minutes; do not stir.
Remove from fire and stir in 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. Pour mixture over 5 quarts of popped corn.
Do not stir in!
Bake at 250Β° for 15 minutes.
Remove and stir.
Put back in oven and repeat every 15 minutes until baked for 1 hour.
If peanuts are desired, add after the first 15 minutes.
