Jewish Apple Cake
Jewish Apple Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. flour, 2 1/4 c. sugar, 1 c. crisco, 3 tsp. baking powder and 4 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Beat altogether until well mixed except the last 3 ingredients.
In separate bowl, mix 5 tablespoons of sugar and 2 tablespoons of cinnamon.
Add apples.
Mix and set aside.
Alternate batter and apples in well-greased 10-inch tube pan, ending with apples on top.
Bake for 1 1/4 hours.
Cool 10 minutes.
Turn upside down on plate.
Tap bottom of pan with knife to loosen.
