Jewish Apple Cake
Jewish Apple Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. flour, 2 c. sugar, 2 tsp. baking powder, 1 pinch salt and 2 1/2 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Blend all the ingredients (except apples) until smooth.
In a tube pan or 9 x 13-inch pan, pour 1/2 inch of batter, then layer of apples.
Then sprinkle with 2 tablespoons cinnamon mixed in 1/2 cup of sugar.
Add chopped nuts, if you like.
Then pour the remaining batter and repeat the same steps.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 1/2 hours or until done.
Grease and flour the pan.
