Jewel's Pound Cake
Jewel'S Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. sugar, 3 c. swans down cake flour (plain flour works just as well), 1 stick margarine, 1/2 c. crisco and 1 tbsp. vanilla or lemon flavoring, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Cream margarine, Crisco and sugar.
Add eggs; mix.
(Do not add eggs one at a time and do not beat eggs before adding to mix.) Add flour alternately with milk.
Add flavoring and mix well. Bake in a greased and floured tube pan at 325Β° for 1 1/2 hours.
