Jelly Roll
Jelly Roll is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 eggs, 3/4 c. sugar, 3/4 c. sifted flour, 3/4 tsp. baking powder and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Mixer.
Sugar gradually and beat until mixture is thick and lemon colored.
Sift dry ingredients together.
Fold with vanilla into egg mixture.
Turn into shallow 15
10-inch pan lined with greased paper.
Bake at 400Β° for about 13 minutes or until done.
Cut crisp edges off cake.
Turn pan a clean cloth sprinkled with powdered sugar. Remove spread cake with softened jelly or jam, then roll it up quickly, wrap in towel and cool on rack.
