Jello Divinity
Jello Divinity is an easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. white corn syrup, 3/4 c. water, 2 egg whites, 1 large box jell-o (any flavor) and 1 c. chopped nuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Grease a jelly roll pan with butter.
Beat egg whites until stiff, adding Jell-O gradually.
Continue to beat until Jell-O is dissolved.
Cook sugar, water and syrup to 252Β°, or until it spins a fine thread.
Pour the syrup into the egg mixture in a thin, fine stream, beating constantly until candy loses its gloss.
Pour into a greased pan at once.
When firm, cut into squares.
