Jeannie And Lela'S Overnight Layered Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 head lettuce, cut in bite size pieces, 1 c. chopped celery, 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1 can drained, sliced water chestnuts and 1 pkg. frozen peas (tiny), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

In a 9 x 13-inch pan layer: lettuce, celery, onion, water chestnuts and frozen peas.
Top and seal side to side with Miracle Whip salad dressing.
Do not stir together.
Spread on like you were frosting a cake.
Sprinkle with: sugar, seasoned salt, garlic powder, Parmesan cheese.
Cover and leave overnight.
Just before serving, top with chopped eggs, and chopped crumbled bacon.
Be sure to drain bacon well after cooking it.
