Jeannette'S Caramels is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. karo corn syrup, 1 lb. of good oleo, 2 1/2 c. granulated sugar, 1 can eagle brand sweetened condensed milk and vanilla to taste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

In a heavy pan, heat syrup to boil.
Add oleo, bring to boil.
Add sugar, bring to boil.
Add milk, bring to boil.
Lower heat and cook to soft ball stage ("firm").
