Jarlsberg Pasta Primavera
Jarlsberg Pasta Primavera is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 medium zucchini, sliced, 1 c. carrots, cut in julienne strips, 1/2 c. green onions, cut in 1-inch pieces, 1/2 c. sliced mushrooms and 1 clove garlic, minced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
In large saucepan, cook vegetables in butter until just tender.
Stir occasionally.
Add flour.
Blend well.
Gradually add half and half.
Cook, stirring until thickened.
Season with basil, salt and pepper.
Add cheese.
Cook, stirring, until melted.
Add broccoli.
Cook pasta according to directions on package; drain.
Toss with cheese mixture.
Serve immediately. Yields 4 main dish servings.
