Japanese Fruit Cake
Japanese Fruit Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. self-rising flour, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. crisco, 1 c. milk and 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Sift flour and sugar.
Add Crisco, milk and vanilla.
Beat 2 minutes, then add eggs.
Beat well.
Pour 1/3 of batter into layer pan.
Then, stir in nut meats and spices into rest of batter.
Make 2 layers out of this batter.
Bake at 350Β° for 25 to 30 minutes. When layers are cool, spread filling between layers.
