Jam Cake
Jam Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. butter, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 4 eggs, 2 1/2 c. plain flour and 1 1/2 c. strawberry jam, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, one at a time.
Sift flour and re-measure.
Add soda, allspice, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Add buttermilk to creamed mixture.
Mix well.
Gradually add flour mixture.
Mix well.
Stir in pecans.
Pour batter into 3 prepared pans.
Bake at 350Β° until done.
