Jam Cake is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 c. butter, 2 c. sugar, 2 c. buttermilk, 2 tsp. soda and 6 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Cream butter and sugar together until fluffy.
Add eggs and beat well.
Sift spices and flour; add soda to buttermilk.
Add flour mixture and milk alternately to the sugar-butter mixture. Fold in jam, preserves and nuts last until well-distributed.
Bake about 1 hour in 325Β° oven.
