Jam Cake
Jam Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter or margarine, 1 c. blackberry jam, 1 c. sugar, 4 eggs, beaten separately and 1 3/4 c. plain flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Grease and flour a 13 x 9-inch pan. Combine with butter and sugar; beat until creamy.
Add jam and beaten egg yolks.
Sift dry ingredients together and add to mixture alternately with buttermilk.
Beat as little as possible. Fold in beaten egg whites.
Cook about 30 minutes or until it tests done with a toothpick.
