Jalapeño Cornbread
Jalapeño Cornbread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 1 small onion, chopped, 2 or 3 jalapeño peppers, chopped, 2 eggs, beaten and 1 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Brown ground beef and drain.
Mix cornmeal, creamed corn, soda, salt, eggs, milk and oil.
Add chopped onions and peppers. Mix well.
Pour mixture into a greased 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Sprinkle ground beef over top of mixture and top with grated cheese.
Bake for 45 minutes at 350°.
