Ground beef in skillet; drain well.
Set aside. Mix cornmeal, salt, bacon drippings, corn and eggs together. Pour half of corn bread mixture in greased baking dish. Layer meat, onion, peppers and cheese.
Cover with remaining corn bread mixture.
