Jackie's Apple Dumplings
Jackie'S Apple Dumplings is an moderately easy dinner. Made with hungry jack biscuits, winesap apples, peeled, halved and cored, 2 c. sugar, 2 c. water and 1 stick margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Heat sugar, water, margarine and cinnamon in saucepan until margarine melts.
Roll biscuits out the size of a saucer; wrap each apple half with biscuit.
Tuck dough under each apple half. Place apples in large pan.
Pour sugar mixture over apples. Cover with foil.
Bake for 45 minutes at 325Β°.
Every 10 minutes, baste apples with juice.
