Cream butter, add sugar, egg, lemon juice and rind.
Mix well. Add dry ingredients and nuts.
Mix well.
Form into a roll about 2 inches in diameter; wrap in wax paper and chill in refrigerator until ready for use.
Slice and bake on ungreased cookie sheets for 10 to 12 minutes at 400Β°.
Makes 4 dozen.
