Jack's Apple Pie
Jack'S Apple Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 medium apples, 2 c. flour, 2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. brown sugar and 1 tbsp. cinnamon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Butter pie pan.
Make crust thin as you can work with and press into pan.
Coat inside of crust with cream.
Stir apples (peeled, cored and sliced thin) with sugar and cinnamon.
Spread evenly in pan.
Cross top of apples with 1/2-inch wide strips of dough, every 1-inch.
Cross strips from opposite directions.
Brush top of pie with butter lightly and sprinkle with brown sugar.
Place in oven at approximately 375Β° until crust is brown.
