Italian Sauce
Italian Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. olive oil, 1 tbsp. butter, 2 tbsp. onion, chopped, 1 clove garlic, minced and 2 tsp. parsley flakes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Saute onion and garlic in oil until golden brown.
Add any meat desired: chicken, beef, veal or meatballs.
Brown evenly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Add parsley flakes.
Remove pan from heat and take out meat.
Add the tomato paste and tomato sauce.
Fill all cans with water and add to sauce.
Then stir well and add sugar and Italian seasoning.
Place meat back into sauce and simmer for 2 hours.
Add more water if sauce thickens.
Stir occasionally.
Serve with spaghetti, ravioli or gnocchi.
