Italian Sardine Bread is an easy dinner. Made with 1 loaf frozen bread dough, thawed, 3 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil, 1 onion, sliced, 1 can sardines and 1/2 c. cheese, grated or cubed*, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Flatten thawed bread dough in greased 9-inch square baking pan. Drizzle with olive oil.
Scatter remaining ingredients onto dough. (I split the sardines and remove the bones.)
Bake as directed on bread dough package (approximately 30 to 40 minutes at 350Β°).
