Italian Pepper Bread
Italian Pepper Bread is an easy dinner. Made with 1 tbsp. instant minced onion, 1 tbsp. water, 1 (16 oz.) pkg. hot roll mix, 1/3 c. cooked bacon bits and 2 tsp. coarse ground black pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Combine onion and water; stand 10 minutes to soften.
Grease 8-inch round cake pan.
Prepare hot roll mix according to package directions;
5 minutes.
On a floured board, shape dough into 7 inch circle.
Place in pan. Let rise in warm place until doubled in size, 30 to 60 minutes. Preheat oven to 375Β°.
Bake until bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped with fingers, about 25 minutes. Remove from pan; cool on a rack.
Makes 10 slices.
