Italian Crème Cake
Italian Crème Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 stick oleo, 2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. crisco, 5 egg yolks and 2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Cream oleo and Crisco until lite cream.
Add sugar gradually. Add egg yolks and beat well.
Add flour and soda (which have been sifted togehter) alternately with buttermilk.
Stir in vanilla, coconut and pecans.
Fold in egg whites.
Bake in 3 greased and floured pans at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.
