Italian Cream Cake
Italian Cream Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 stick margarine, 1/2 c. crisco, 2 c. sugar, 5 egg yolks and 2 c. plain flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Beat egg whites; set aside.
Sift flour and soda together and set aside.
Cream margarine and shortening; add sugar.
Beat until smooth.
Add egg yolks; beat well.
Add flour and soda that has been sifted alternately with the buttermilk.
Beat well.
Stir in vanilla.
Add coconut and nuts.
Fold in egg whites.
Pour in 3 greased and floured pans.
Bake at 350Β° for 25 to 30 minutes.
