Italian Casserole
Italian Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. medium macaroni shells, 1 tsp. salt, 1 pt. sour cream, 16 oz. provolone cheese, shredded and 2 lb. ground beef, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Cook shells; rinse and drain.
Brown ground beef.
Add salt and pepper.
Stir in sauce (onions, black olives or fresh mushrooms are good in sauce).
Simmer 20 minutes.
Use two cake pans.
Line the bottoms with 1/2 the macaroni; cover shells with 1/2 meat sauce.
Spread 1/2 pint sour cream over sauce.
Sprinkle 1/2 of both cheeses.
Repeat 2nd layer.
Cover and bake 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and lightly brown.
