Irish Bread
Irish Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 tbsp. butter, 1 1/2 c. sugar (superfine), 4 eggs, 2 tsp. baking powder and 1 pkg. seedless raisins, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Cream shortening and sugar until white and creamy.
Add eggs and beat well.
Stir in flour and milk gradually.
Add raisins that have been floured and lastly add lemon extract.
Grease and flour 2 loaf pans or angel food pan.
Bake in a 375Β° preheated oven for 1 hour or a little longer if angel food pan is used. Let cool in pan.
