Instant Cherry Cream Pie
Instant Cherry Cream Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (15 oz.) can red tart pitted cherries, 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, 1 (4 oz.) pkg. instant strawberry pudding, 2 c. milk and 2/3 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Cream cheese until softened.
Add 1/2 cup of the milk, a little at a time, blending until mixture is very smooth.
Add remaining 1 1/2 cups milk and pudding.
Beat with mixer just until well mixed.
Pour into crust.
Chill until set.
Drain cherries, reserving syrup.
Add sugar and cornstarch to syrup.
Stir until smooth.
Cook until thickened.
Spoon over cream filling.
