Mix flour, sugar, soda, salt and cocoa together in a 9 X 13 ungreased cake pan.
Make 3 holes in middle of mixture.
Hole #1 put vinegar.
Hole #2 put oil.
Hole #3 put vanilla.
Pour cold water over all.
Mix all together well.
Bake at 350Β° for 35 to 40 minutes.
Serve plain or with frosting.
