Icebox Rolls
Icebox Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 yeast cake, 1/2 c. warm water, 1 c. shortening, 1 c. boiling water and 2 eggs, beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water.
Melt shortening in 1 cup of boiling water.
Add eggs, sugar, salt and cold water to shortening mixture.
Add yeast mixture.
Add flour and mix well. Set overnight or at least 5 hours in refrigerator.
Three hours before baking, roll out and cut.
Dip each roll into melted butter. Fold over and place on greased pan.
Let rise double.
Bake until brown.
