Icebox Fruit Cake
Icebox Fruit Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. box graham crackers, 4 c. walnuts, cut up, 1 large can pet milk, 1 lb. marshmallows and 1 lb. seedless raisins, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Roll graham crackers out with a rolling pin.
Mix in pan with raisins and nuts.
Put the can of milk and marshmallows in double boiler.
Melt marshmallows and stir up with milk.
Pour this mixture into pan of ingredients.
Mix well.
Turn some out on powdered sugared doughboard with wax paper on it.
Work into a roll about 3 inches in diameter and about 7 or 8 inches long. Work and pat it with powdered sugar, then wrap each roll in separate wax paper.
Makes about 8 rolls.
Keep in refrigerator for a couple of days before using.
