Iceberg Pickles
Iceberg Pickles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 7 lb. cucumbers, sliced thin, 5 lb. sugar, 5 qt. vinegar, spices and ice water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Soak the cucumbers in 2 gallons of ice water with lime for 24 hours.
Change water each hour for 4 hours, using only ice water.
Bring to a boil the vinegar, sugar and spices.
Pour over cucumbers while still hot.
Let stand overnight.
Next morning, cook cucumbers for 30 minutes with heat on simmer until vinegar is thick.
