Ice Cream Custard
Ice Cream Custard is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt, 4 eggs, 4 c. cream (for my cream, i use 4 c. evaporated milk) and 2 tbsp. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Mix sugar, flour and salt.
Stir in milk.
Cook over boiling water, stirring constantly until slightly thickened.
Cover and continue cooking for 10 minutes.
Stir a small amount of the hot milk into the beaten eggs, then stir into the remaining hot milk. Cook over hot, not boiling water, until mixture coats the spoon. Remove from hot water and chill.
Add vanilla and cream, then your fruit or whatever flavor desired.
