Ice Cream
Ice Cream is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 c. milk, 6 heaping tbsp. cornstarch, 1 tsp. salt, 2 c. milk and 6 eggs, beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Heat milk.
Put together cornstarch and salt with 2 cups milk. Add to hot milk; stir until slightly thick, but do not boil! Pour hot milk over the beaten eggs and sugar; cool.
When ready to freeze, add cream and vanilla.
Pour into freezer through a sieve. Add more milk if it isn't 3/4 full.
Makes 1 1/2 gallons.
