Hush Puppies
Hush Puppies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 1/2 c. salad oil, 1/2 c. sifted flour, 1 c. yellow cornmeal, 1 tsp. baking powder and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Heat oil to 400Β°.
Mix and sift flour, cornmeal, baking powder and salt.
Beat eggs, add onion and mix.
Add dry ingredients and beer alternately and blend lightly.
Using a tablespoon, drop mixture into hot oil and cook until done and as brown as desired, turning once.
Drain on absorbent paper and serve immediately.
