Hush Puppies
Hush Puppies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. flour, 1 1/2 c. corn meal, 1 medium onion, pinch of salt and pinch of soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Mix first 7 ingredients together. Slowly add enough buttermilk, mixing well, until dough is of right consistency to hold it's shape when rolled into a ball.
Drop in a couple of inches of hot grease and deep fry until brown and crispy. Drain on paper. Serve hot.
