Hush Puppies is an easy dinner. Made with 1 1/4 c. self-rising corn meal mix, 3 tbsp. self-rising flour, 1 tbsp. finely chopped onion, 1 c. milk and 1 egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Combine meal, flour and onion.
Add egg.
Gradually beat in milk.
Drop from a spoon into hot fat in which fish was fried. Fry until golden brown.
Fat or oil should be deep and heated to about 375Β°.
Fry about 2 to 3 minutes or until brown.
Drain on absorbent paper towels.
