Hurricane Cake
Hurricane Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. coconut, 1 c. chopped pecans, 1 german chocolate cake mix, 1 cube butter and 8 oz. cream cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Spray or grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Sprinkle 1 cup of coconut on bottom of pan.
Sprinkle 1 cup chopped pecans over coconut.
Mix cake mix like directions on box.
Pour over coconut and nuts.
In a bowl, blend together butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla; this will be stiff.
Drop by big teaspoonfuls on top of cake mix.
Do not put this mixture close to edge of pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 45 minutes.
Serves 12.
