Hunt's Hamburger Skillet Stew
Hunt'S Hamburger Skillet Stew is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 1/4 c. fine bread crumbs, 1/4 c. chopped onion, 1 tbsp. worcestershire sauce and 1 egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Combine beef, bread crumbs, chopped onion, egg, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce and 1/2 cup tomato sauce.
Shape into 16 balls.
Brown in oil in skillet.
Add vegetables, water and 1 teaspoon salt.
Pour over remaining tomato sauce.
Cover and simmer one hour, stirring occasionally.
Remove 1/2 cup stew sauce and mix with flour.
Gradually pour into stew and stir over low heat until gravy thickens.
Makes 4 servings.
