Hummingbird Cake

Combine the first 5 ingredients in a large bowl.
Add eggs and oil, stirring until dry ingredients are moist.
Do not beat.
Stir in vanilla, pineapple, 1 cup pecans and bananas.
Spoon batter into 3 greased and floured 9-inch cake pans.
Bake at 350Β° for 25 to 30 minutes.
Cool pans 10 minutes; remove and finish cooling. Frost and top with 1/2 cup pecans.
