Hot Water Chocolate Cake
Hot Water Chocolate Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 2 c. flour, 1 stick oleo, 1/2 c. crisco and 1 c. water (hot), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Mix well together sugar, flour and cinnamon, set aside. In saucepan put oleo, Crisco, cocoa and water.
Bring to rapid boil. Add this to sugar and flour.
Add buttermilk with soda dissolved in it.
Beat well. Bake
400Β° for
25 minutes in greased and floured 9
13-inch pan.
Let cool in pan.
