Hot Sweet Pickles
Hot Sweet Pickles is an easy dinner. Made with 1 gallon jar of sliced dill pickles, 12-oz jar of hot jalapeño peppers and 4 lbs sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Drain dill pickles.
Remove about half of the pickles from the jar and place in a large bowl.
Pour the sugar and jalapeño peppers, including the juice over the pickles in the jar.
Stir with a wooden spoon until the sugar dissolves.
Add remaining pickles to the jar, a few at a time, stirring after each addition. Let set for 4 or 5 days, stirring them each day; they do not need to be refrigerated during this time.
