Hot Surprises
Hot Surprises is an easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. hot pork sausage, 8 large pickled jalapeños and 8 oz. pkg. jack and cheddar mixed cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Divide sausage
8 pieces and flatten out.
Rinse peppers and cut stem from top.
Split pepper on one side; open up and remove seeds.
Cut a strip of cheese to fit inside each pepper and peppers.
Pepper on each sausage patty and enclose completely with sausage.
Cook in a large skillet until done, turning several times.
Drain on paper towels.
Be careful first bite; the cheese inside will be hot.
