Hot Spinach
Hot Spinach is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 pkg. frozen chopped spinach, 4 tbsp. butter, 2 tbsp. flour, 2 tbsp. chopped onion and 1/2 c. evaporated milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Cook spinach.
Drain and reserve liquid.
Melt butter over low heat.
Add flour until blended and smooth but not brown.
Add spinach liquid and milk, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
Cook until smooth and thick.
Add rest of the ingredients and combine with cooked spinach.
Put in a casserole and top with buttered crumbs.
Cook at 350° until hot.
